The Pastor

Maurice & Smirna Evans have each served in multiple leadership capacities for the Body of Christ since 2001.

They have both  been instrumental with assisting in starting up and directing ministries such as: Children’s, Singles, Jr. High, Sr. High, Spanish, Youth, Para church, Women’s, Leadership and Missions ministries and departments at several churches and organizations.

As apostles to the body of Christ, their focus is on discipleship and leadership training.  Maurice Met Jesus in May of 1995 and Smirna met Jesus in September of 1983 . They met each other in Bible College in 2001 and were married March 20, 2004.

Together in 2009 they Founded and currently Pastor Tampa Bay Christian Center in Downtown, Saint Petersburg, Florida.
